Way too cold

作曲/填詞: 曰云

A pair of woolen mittens
A pair of boots
A scarf that's warm and fuzzy
A mouthful of food

Hooray it's Winter again
With a skyful of snowflakes
Sparkly, glittering...
Like a world that doesn't know pain

And when it's way too cold
From our heads to our toes
We jog and run...
to the place that we call home

What about him on the road
Hungry and freezing alone
He shivers and hides
Trying to survive through another sleepness night...
'cause he has nowhere else to go

But when it's way too cold
From our heads to our toes
We should still be thankful...
for the place that we call home

What about him on the road
Hungry and freezing alone
What can he be thankful for?
The least that we can do...is to show him a smile and some love...
Send to his heart...a handful of coal

後記:

The most unforgiving kind of coldness comes from the place we call the heart. But this same place can also generate the most soothing warmness.

When we can call the world our home, that's when there's no more homeless people sleeping on the streets, because we'll all be at home.
